A 62-year-old White City woman has been arrested and charged following an investigation into alleged fraud and theft over five thousand dollars in connection with a Regina apartment complex complaint.

Edna F. Keep made her first appearance Tuesday afternoon at Regina Provincial Court on charges of fraud over five thousand dollars and theft over five thousand dollars. The Regina Police Service’s Financial Crime Unit investigated shareholder complaints regarding the apartment complex and found that a substantial mortgage was obtained by one of the directors of the corporation, but the funds weren’t used to benefit the corporation.
