A three-vehicle collision on Highway 2 near Spruce Home on Wednesday has resulted in the death of an 83-year-old woman.

Prince Albert R-C-M-P say she was the driver and lone occupant of a car which collided with a semi and another truck around 11:40 a.m. on February 9.

The woman was declared deceased at the scene and her family has been notified.

The drivers of the semi and the truck were not injured. Neither had passengers with them.

Highway 2 reopened Thursday after being closed during the initial investigation on Wednesday. The Prince Albert R-C-M-P and a Saskatchewan R-C-M-P reconstructionist continue to investigate.
