Julian Demkiw and Dr. Angela Bedard-Haughn are new members of the Meewasin Valley Authority’s Board of Directors.

Demkiw is the Senior Strategist in the Office of the President at the University of Saskatchewan. Bedard-Haughn is Dean of the College of Agriculture and Bioresources at USask.

“Angela and Julian will bring their valuable expertise and passion for the Valley to Meewasin’s governance, helping us achieve new heights,” said Interim Meewasin Board Chair Ryan Walker about the new appointees.

The Meewasin Board of Directors is made up of four representatives from the City of Saskatoon, from from the Province of Saskatchewan and four from the University of Saskatchewan.
