The Governance and Priorities Committee meeting on Monday will receive an update on River Landing which includes the suggestion the area could be a potential site for a new Downtown Entertainment District.

Consequently the Parcel G site, approved for sale last November, and targeted to be released in summer of 2019, is not going to be released for sale as expected.

River Landing includes, on the west side of Idylwyld Drive, Parcel G, Parcel BB which is parking right now, the Saskatoon Farmer’s Market, Isinger Park, and the Banks as well as the historic Pumphouse and Adult Fitness Circuit.

The Governance and Priorities Committee meeting includes all members of council.
