The Chief Superintendent in Charge of Criminal Operations for the Manitoba RCMP says officers have worked peacefully to resolve the blockade protest at the province’s main Canada-U.S. border crossing. Rob Hill is confident a resolution has been reached and demonstrators will leave the area, bringing back full access to the Emerson Port of Entry. The Manitoba RCMP is coordinating the departure of the remaining demonstrators and Chief Superintendent Hill expects it will be all clear by Wednesday.
