RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the northern community on February 9th in connection to an ongoing investigation.
Officers located and seized:
-approximately 59.3 grams of suspected crack of suspected crack cocaine
-approximately 1 milligram of methadone
-a quantity of prescription drugs
-a quantity of cash
The investigation has determined some of the prescription drugs seized were not prescribed to individuals at the residence where the search warrant was executed.
Three individuals from the La Loche area have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
They are 51 year old Vernon Laprise, 24 year old Stacy Lemaigre and 24 year old Jayda Boucher-Moise.
All three will appear in provincial court in La Loche on March 21st
