Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19. Buckingham Palace says the 95 year-old is experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms. The Queen will continue to do light duties as she receives medical care. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent his best wishes to the Queen via Twitter, saying Canadians wish her a speedy recovery. The 95 year-old monarch recently met with her son Prince Charles who tested positive for the virus earlier this month.
My thoughts, and the thoughts of millions of Canadians, are with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II today. We’re wishing her a fast and full recovery from COVID-19.
