Two Regina men have been charged by police following search warrants on Friday that resulted in the seizure of guns, ammunition and stolen property.
The first search warrant was conducted after the Regina Police Service’s canine unit located a wanted man on the 800 block of Queen Street.
33-year-old Richard Krane of Regina fled from police into a residence, but officers eventually found and safely arrested him after Krane surrendered.
The investigation resulted in a second search warrant at a separate residence on the 1400 block of Princess Street involving firearm-related offences.
Multiple police units attended the home and located the wanted individual – 34-year-old Jason Morin of Regina.
Both men are facing multiple charges including careless storage of a firearm.
