The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health is reporting 37 COVID-19 related deaths during the week ending last Saturday, February 19th—which is a slight decrease from the 42 deaths recorded during the previous week.
The majority of deaths (26) are in the 80-and-over age category. Seven people were in their seventies, three in their sixties and one individual was between the ages of 20 and 39. There were 22 women and 15 men that passed away last week.
The total number of hospitalization were 372, down 38 from the previous week.
There were 9,142 lab tests performed in Saskatchewan, which generated 1,407 positives. (14.4 percent)
