SaskTel is waiving all long distance and international text messaging fees for calls and messages sent from Canada to Ukraine. Minister Responsible for SaskTel, Don Morgan, says it’s to ensure customers can connect with family and friends most impacted by the situation, with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This is effective immediately and until March 31st.

SaskTel will automatically waive all:
– long-distance charges for SaskTel wireless (postpaid and prepaid), landline, and business calls made from Canada to Ukraine
– international text messaging fees for messages sent from Canada to Ukraine
– roaming charges for calls, texts, and data overages for customers currently in Ukraine
