Yesterday (sat) around 3:40 in the morning, Regina Police saw a suspicious vehicle that matched the description of one that had been reported stolen back on February 16th. Officers attempted a traffic stop, although the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed according to a news release. The driver then hit a parked vehicle. Eventually police used a tire deflation device. The male driver fled on foot but was arrested by police. The female passenger was also arrested but was later released. 35 year-old Daniel Ward of Regina faces a number of charges including resisting arrest. He is due in court tomorrow (mon).
