The Saskatchewan RCMP are reporting that the alarm going off at the Martensville Veterinary Hospital was nothing to worry about.

However the folks at the vet hospital did say, “We’re sorry our cat is a jerk”

The Martensville Veterinary Hospital recently added a security system which very soon started triggering an alarm, repeatedly.  Martensville RCMP responded each time the alarm would sound and swiftly determined it was an inside job – the culprit being resident cat, Purrgus.

The veterinary hospital thanked their local RCMP on social media for getting to the bottom of this false alarm feline file. They said that the alarm was a fantastic addition to clinic security but someone forgot to explain how it works to Purrgus.

The vet clinic staff dropped off people appropriate treats to the detachment as a thanks.
