A stabbing on Saskatoon’s east side last month has resulted in the death of a 25-year-old woman.

The incident happened in the 2700 block of Main Street East on February 20th.

Around 2:30 a.m. that morning police found a 25 year old woman and 25 year old man inside both suffering stab wounds.  They were transported to hospital however the woman’s injuries were life threatening and investigators are now treating her death as a homicide.

Police believe there is no threat to public safety. This is Saskatoon’s third homicide of 2022.
