A 28 year old Regina woman wanted on a Saskatchewan-wide warrant in connection to a kidnapping and forcible confinement investigation has been arrested. Regina Police say on March 5th, two women were allegedly kidnapped, held against their will and robbed.
The original charges for Deanna McKay are two counts each of kidnapping, forcible confinement and armed robbery and one of aggravated assault. The Regina Police Service says further investigation into this incident as well as two incidents of vehicle theft has led to additional charges including possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to an order, discharging a firearm with intent and two counts of auto theft.
