Sometimes you’ve got to stop and smell the flowers, and you can do that at the Gardenscape Backyard Living Show this weekend at Prairieland Park. Prairieland Special Events Manager Susan Kuzma says there are thousands of potted flowers and floral displays to inspire you for whatever backyard or indoor garden you have in mind.
The last Gardenscape was in 2019 because of the pandemic, so to refresh everyone’s memories, Kuzma says all of the favourites are back, like the designer feature gardens. Each garden is conceptualized around a theme of the designer’s choosing.
Along with everything gardening and outdoor living, there is also an art show and sale, the SuperDogs, and places to stop for a bite to eat. If you’re interested in picking up some of the flowers that are on display all this weekend, there is a cash and carry sale and a live auction that begins at 6 Sunday night.
Tickets are available online for a dollar less than at the door, and there is a line at the door just for online ticket holders, which may get you through quicker. Gardenscape begins at 11 today (Fri) and runs through 9 o’clock tonight. 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
