A Monday evening robbery in Regina has police in the provincial capital asking for the public’s help with their investigation.

At about 8:45 p.m. on Monday, Regina Police were called to a business in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue about a recent robbery. A male entered the business and an employee witnessed him take an item off a shelf and try to hide it inside his jacket. When a second business employee approached the man to return the item, the suspect male fled. A search of the area by police was unsuccessful in finding the man who is described as Caucasian, about 6-feet tall. He appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing a black winter jacket, a red hoodie with a white hoodie underneath, a ball cap with grey on the front and a white logo, sunglasses on his hat, plus black pants and brown work boots. Anyone with information about the suspect or information that could be of assistance is asked to call the Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
