Just when it looked like two key, veteran forwards were returning to the line-up for the last multi-game road trip of the regular-season, the Saskatoon Blades will have another two, maybe three, forwards on the sidelines when they visit the Medicine Hat Tigers Tuesday evening.

After missing 12 and six games, respectively, with Upper Body injuries, Trevor Wong and Noah Boyko will be in the Bridge City Bunch line-up. But, Upper Body ailments will keep second-leading scorer Tristen Robins and Josh Pillar back in Saskatoon while Tyler Parr could join the Blue and Gold in time for the 7 p.m. faceoff after not traveling with the Blades Monday. Robins and Pillar will join defencemen Aidan De La Gorgendiere, Rhett Rhinehart and Spencer Shugrue plus forward Lukas Hansen on the injured list for Saskatoon. Sixteen-year-old blueliner Tait Humphries will join the Blades in Medicine Hat. The Bridge City Bunch should be used to this by now as Tuesday’s will be the 65th game of the season for the Blue and Gold and they have yet to not have a player miss because of injury or illness with an unofficial tally of 229 man-game lost to injury and/or illness this season. But, the Blades have to play the game as they’ll look to improve on their 35-25-4 record and move closer to Moose Jaw for fourth place in the Eastern Conference and maintain at least a five-point lead over sixth place Brandon, who host Regina Tuesday. Saskatoon is three points back of the Warriors. The Tigers could be what the Bridge City Bunch need as the Bengals are 11-48-4 for the season, dead last in the W-H-L and losers of seven straight. The Blue and Gold are 3-7-0 in their last 10 games, out-scored 31-20 in that time and are just 2-for-37 on the power play in those 10 games.
