Saskatoon Police continue to investigate after threats were made involving three elementary schools. Around 12:30 this afternoon (Fri) a 911 call reported a person with a firearm approaching an elementary school in the 200 block of Avenue S South, which is where Pleasant Hill Community School is. At 12:36 and then again at 1:13, there were two more 911 calls with similar reports for the 200 block of 111th Street, which would be Sutherland School, and the 3500 block of John A. Macdonald Road, which is Confederation Park Community School.
Each school was placed on lockdown while officers attended and cleared each room. No threat was located and the lockdowns were lifted. The General Investigations Section of the Police Service and the School Resource Unit continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
