The charges for a 25 year old man have ramped up from aggravated assault to 2nd degree murder in connection to a Saskatoon Police investigation into a stabbing on February 20th. Officers responded to the 2700 block of Main Street East and found two 25 year olds with stab wounds.
Police say the victim, Emily Sanche, later succumbed to her injuries, becoming Saskatoon’s third homicide victim of the year. Following her death and through subsequent investigation, the 25 year old’s charge was upgraded. The accused, who is known to the victim is to appear in Provincial Court on Tuesday.
