An Onion Lake man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Lloydminster.

Twenty-four-year-old Warren Ray Lewis was arrested by Lloydminster R-C-M-P and the Alberta R-C-M-P Major Crimes Unit and charged him with Manslaughter following an incident on March 30. At 6:59 p.m., Lloydminster R-C-M-P received a complaint about a physical altercation in the city’s downtown core. Upon arrival, officers found a 50-year-old Lloydminster man with serious life-threatening injuries. He succumbed to those injuries on April 2 in hospital. Lewis has been remanded in custody and will make his next appearance in Lloydminster Provincial Court on April 21.
