Two people are facing drug trafficking and weapons-related charges in connection to a Saskatoon Police Drug Unit investigation. A 23 year old man and 22 year old woman were taken into custody near a business in the 300 block of Confederation Drive, with help from the Tactical Support Unit.

Later, a search warrant was executed at a home in the 3500 block of 37th Street West. Police say 60 grams of cocaine was seized, almost $4,000 cash, a loaded 9mm handgun and three loaded magazines, a revolver handgun, two vehicles, a bullet proof vest, bear spray and equipment consistent with drug trafficking.
