Prince Albert Police are looking for the public’s assistance in helping identify a man suspected of robbery where police say a vehicle was stolen and the man later fled the scene following a collision.

This happened around 6:30 on Wednesday night in the 100 block of 26th Street East when the suspect approached a woman and demanded the keys to her vehicle.

The man then fled in the vehicle before colliding with a snowbank in the 100 block of 27th Street East.

Witnesses say they saw the man running north on 1st Avenue East.

The suspect is described as being in his early 20’s, approximately 5 feet tall. He was wearing a blue and black checkered jacket and pants.
