Saskatchewan is reporting 1,051 new cases of COVID-19 in the latest EPI report.

Hospitalizations have cracked the 400 mark again with an increase of 49 people in a Saskatchewan hospital for the virus since last week’s report.

There are 403 residents being treated for the novel coronavirus with 25 in intensive care.

For the week of April 3rd to the 9th, there were 20 virus-related deaths, 15 of which occurred during the week. The other five deaths occurred in previous weeks dating back to the beginning of February.

The deaths were evenly split between males and females according to the Ministry of Health.
