Snowfall warnings are in place in southeast Saskatchewan today (sun) as a clipper system is taking shape in the northern states and is tracking eastward.

The Estevan, Weyburn and Assiniboia areas could all see between 10 to 15 centimetres of snow before the system tappers off this afternoon (sun).

Environment Canada says the most impacted areas will be communities closest to the international border where 15 centimetres is expected.

Widespread blowing snow is not expected as winds are anticipated to be minimal today (sun).

The forecast for Saskatoon is calling for snow overnight on Tuesday. There’s also a chance of flurries during the day with periods of snow or rain expected on Wednesday.
