The Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit says officers working with the Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan (CTSS) was pulled over on Sunday evening for speeding.
The driver was nabbed for doing 76 kilometres an hour over the posted speed limit on Highway 7 west of Saskatoon. That need for speed netted the driver an $1,100 fine and a seven day impoundment of the car.
Meanwhile, the Corman Park Police Department conducted a check stop in the Auction Mart Road area on Friday night. They say two drivers tested positive for THC and one driver tested positive for cocaine. All drivers received a three day license suspension and had their vehicles impounded.
