The Prince Albert Police Service has charged a 24 year old woman from the community in connection with a fire at the Senator Allen Bird Memorial Centre.
Fire crews were called to the blaze in the 2300 block of 9th Avenue West on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m.
The building was one of the main meeting places for the Prince Albert Grand Council and was used on Thursday to distribute 1,500 Easter hampers for families in need.
Prince Albert Police had been asking anyone who lived in the area and may have had surveillance video to share the information.
The suspect has been charged with Arson and is in court today (tues).
