The Ukraine2Canada Travel Fund will allow companies and individuals to donate Aeroplan points.

The goal is to bring at least 10,000 Ukrainians and their families on flights to Canada.

Air Canada is starting things off with 100-million Aeroplan points and the Shapiro Foundation will match all donations up to 50-million Aeroplan points. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations

The program will be open to Ukrainian nationals and their accompanying family members who hold valid Canadian travel documents and have been approved for travel to Canada.
