Canora RCMP say there is an increased police presence at a home on the outskirts of the community of Stenen. A search warrant was executed in relation to an ongoing investigation.

There is no risk to public safety but ask the public to please stay away from the area where police are present and follow any directions from officers on scene.

An update on the situation may be available tomorrow (tues).

Stenen is located approximately 33 kilometers north of Canora.
