The World Senior Women’s, Senior Men’s and Mixed Doubles Curling Championships continue today and run through Saturday in Geneva, Switzerland. Canada is represented by Sherry Anderson’s Saskatoon-Nutana foursome in the Senior Women’s competition. They finished preliminary round-robin play with 5 wins, 1 loss…good for 2nd place in Group A…pending more results today. Canada’s playoff schedule is not yet known.

The Saskatoon high school badminton championships are being held today at Walter Murray. Matches begin at 1 p.m. and will run through until about 8 p.m. Titles in Girls and Boys singles, Girls and Boys doubles as well as Mixed doubles.
