The most recent quartlerly reports on losses of public money within government ministries and Crown Corporations have been tabled for the period of January through March. SaskTel reports a loss of $18,558 because an employee charged personal items to a corporate credit card and failed to repay the outstanding amount. An investigation was conducted by on March 1st, the employee refused to meet with Corporate Security to explain the charges and the person was fired the next day. The issue has been reported to police.
