A 42-year-old man has been arrested and faces numerous drug and weapon-related charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team.
The suspect was arrested without incident around 3 p.m. on April 28 outside of a residence in the 400 block of Avenue E South. Officers executed a search warrant at the residence after witnessing several interactions consistent with drug trafficking. The man was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime over five thousand dollars as a result of search warrant seizure that also included 12 cartons of illegal cigarettes, two digital scales, an airsoft pistol, a baton, two bear sprays plus packaging and paraphernalia associated with the trafficking of drugs.
