Rosthern RCMP say five residents of a care home in Hepburn were sexually assaulted by a staff member.

Their investigation determined that the assaults took place between 1992 and 2009. The individual alleged to be involved has not worked at the facility since 2009.

Fifty-two-year-old Brent Gabona was arrested on Tuesday and is charged with five counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual exploitation of a person with a disability.

He is in Saskatoon court today (frid).
