The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a 9-11 call early Friday morning after receiving a report of a garage on fire.

When crews arrived the garage in the 600 block of Avenue K South was fully engulfed in flames. The call came in at 3:07 a.m. and the fire was under control by 3:20 a.m.

No one was inside and the fire was completely extinguished by 4:15 a.m. A fire investigator says the fire is suspicious, that it started inside the garage and damage is estimated at $30,000.

The Saskatoon Police Service will continue further investigation.
