Regina Police made an arrest early yesterday (fri) morning, during which they recovered a stolen vehicle along with a rifle and ammunition.

Officers were called to the area of North Pasqua Street and Pasqua Gate where they found a black Mazda hung up on the grass median, still running with the male driver who appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel.

Police determined the vehicle has been reported stolen to police earlier in the week. Officers then got the driver safely out of the vehicle, advising him he was under arrest. This is when officers found the rifle and ammunition.

A search of the driver also found a wallet belonging to the owner of the vehicle.

In addition to outstanding warrants, 34-year-old Bryan McNabb is facing numerous charges including theft of a motor vehicle under five thousand dollars.

McNabb made his first court appearance yesterday (fri).
