Pierceland RCMP have issued a warrant for the arrest of an 18 year old woman from Big Island Lake Cree Nation. Danica Ochuschayoo is charged with aggravated assault.

Just after 2:30 Tuesday morning, Pierceland RCMP received a report of an assault on Big Island Lake Cree Territory. A woman was found outside a home and was transported to hospital with injuries police describe as serious.

Ochuchayoo is described as 5’6″, a slim build, with brown eyes and long, dark brown hair. Her eyebrow, nose and lip are pierced and she has a tattoo on her chest that says Maverick, and the letters WHC MJO on both her left ankle and left shoulder. Danica sometimes uses the surname Oseemeemow, and may be in Big Island Lake Cree Territory, Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation, Onion Lake Cree Nation, or in Loon Lake but this can’t be confirmed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
