Pierceland RCMP have located and arrested Danica Ochuschayoo on the Big Island Cree Nation.

This comes after an arrest warrant was issued for the 18-year-old following an assault on Big Island Lake Cree Nation Territory on Tuesday.

Officers found an adult woman outside of a home. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Ochusachayoo is facing one count of aggravated assault. She is due in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on May 24th.
