Saskatoon Police are investigating after reports of shots being fired, two men injured and a man found dead last night (Thurs). Officers responded around 4:30 in the afternoon to a report of an injured man in the 100 block of Main Street East, and then shortly after, additional calls came in reporting shots fired in the 700 block of Melrose Avenue, and an injured male was being taken to City Hospital. When arriving to Melrose Avenue, officers found a man dead behind an apartment building.
The two injured males are being treated for their injuries and their condition is unknown. Thursday night, Saskatoon Police were asking the public to avoid the area around the 700 block of Melrose Avenue.
