On Saturday morning Saskatoon Police spotted a vehicle that matched the description of a stolen vehicle and tried to pull it over northbound on Idylwyld Drive near 29th Street West. This was around 3:30 a.m. and the driver sped away. The Air Support Unit was able to track the vehicle to the 400 block of Avenue M north which when the driver got out and fled on foot.

The ASU directed officers to a location in the area and a 32 year old man was arrested in the 400 block of Avenue L North. He allegedly had a small amount of methamphetamine on him. The 32 year old is charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Dangerous Driving, Evading Police, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Breach of Conditions. He also was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
