Included in the Saskatchewan RCMP’s weekly update, is a fatal vehicle/pedestrian accident which happened just north of Duck Lake on May 16th. Police say it happened around 11:20 p.m. in the northbound lane of Highway 11. The pedestrian, a 24 year old Saskatoon man, was declared dead at the scene. The woman driving the vehicle was transported to Rosthern Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation has determined the Saskatoon man was wearing dark-coloured clothing while walking down the middle of the road when he was struck. The investigation is ongoing.
