The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health says 12 deaths were reported between May 15th and May 21st, compared to 22 during the previous seven days. There were eight people 80 years of age and older and another two each in the 40-to-59 and 60-to-69 age categories. Two-thirds of the deaths were men.
There are 258 people in hospital with COVID, down 12 from last week. Of those, only 10 are in the intensive care unit. The ICU number is four lower than last week.
Lab tests have confirmed 376 positive COVID cases, including 119 in Saskatoon.
