The Saskatchewan Blue Cross “Go Out and Play Challenge” is back for a ninth year. The 10-day event focuses on the importance of play, and gives communities a chance to win $10 thousand for a project that gets kids and families out to play. Residents have to log physical activity minutes during the challenge. Pilot Butte won the event last year, logging over 480 thousand minutes. To date the challenge has awarded $135 thousand to 16 communities.
Communities have until February 7, 2020 to register. December 20th is the early bird deadline to earn bonus minutes. The challenge runs from March 1-10, 2020. The registration form and challenge rules are available at Saskatchewaninmotion.ca.
