Early Saturday morning just after 1, La Loche RCMP were alerted about someone injured being transported by private vehicle to hospital. Officers and EMS responded and found the vehicle. Forty-nine year old Ryan Piche from Clearwater River Dene Nation was pronounced dead by EMS. Forty-one year old Melissa Laprise of La Loche was arrested and is charged with second degree murder.
