A memorial service is being held on Sunday in Regina for the 28 year old paramedic who was killed while responding to an EMS call on October 25th. Leigh Schroeder died after a collision between a truck and an ambulance near Beauval. Two children were also killed.
His obituary says he had trained as a journeyman electrician and primary care paramedic. Leigh Schroeder had settled into the community of Meadow Lake and called it home.
Uniformed personnel of all services are encouraged to attend in full order dress with medals. To make planning easier, the organizers are asking EMS, Police and Fire personnel and any other agencies to RSVP by email with the service you represent and then number of personnel that are coming. The address is saskemsmemorial@gmail.com.
The Living Hope Alliance Church may not be able to accommodate everyone who is interested in attending, so there is a plan to livestream the service.
