Regina police say a call to the 1000 block of Dorothy Street of a possible attempted car jacking also led to the rescue of a woman.
Police got the call shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday when the caller said a suspect had pointed a gun at him while he was in his vehicle and when officers arrived they learned the suspect had returned to a home nearby.
A male suspect exited the home without incident when police asked and at the same time a woman left the home telling police she was being held their against her will.
Officers located a gun inside and 30 year old Jesse James Borden was in court this morning charged with Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement.
