Fuel inflation is very real as the price of gasoline has shot past $2 a litre.
Most stations were charging $2.06.9 a litre for regular gas—another double digit increase.
Gas prices have been rising in other regions of the country as well. Vancouver set a new record of just under $2.37 a litre this morning.

SARM President Ray Orb says skyrocketing diesel and gas costs will force rural municipalities to dig into reserves in an effort to keep maintaining service levels.
