Saskatoon Police have charged a 31 year old man with impaired driving following a Saturday evening collision with a child.

The boy was hit by the westbound truck on 21st Street West between Avenues K and L around 7:20pm. He was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries. Fortunately, the youngster is expected to recover according to a Saskatoon Police Service news release.

The man has been charged with Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Exceeding the Legal Alcohol Limit Causing Bodily Harm.
