Fifty (50) community-based organizations and partnerships will each get a piece of $566,000 in funding through the Saskatoon Community Foundation.
A breakdown of the grants, which comes from philanthropists who direct their charitable giving through the Foundation, has 28 organizations splitting $372,285 in Quality of Life grants, $118,396 in Community Fund for Reconciliation grants for seven partnerships and 15 organizations receiving a share of $75,300 worth of Youth Endowment Saskatoon grants. Since it was founded in 1970, Saskatoon Community Foundation has directed over $51 million for charitable programs and local community initiatives while supporting over 280 organizations every year and represents over 350 fundholders.
