A death investigation from last Friday has become Regina’s fifth homicide of 2022.

Seventy-five-year-old Kenneth Glen Hubick of Regina appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Monday to answer charges of second degree murder and indignity to a dead body. Just before 2 p.m. on June 17, Regina Police Service patrol members found the deceased body of an adult female in the 1300 block of Oxford Bay. Hubick was subsequently arrested and charged. The deceased female has been identified and next-of-kin notified with the family asking Regina police not to name her.
