Saskatchewan R-C-M-P are suspending their aerial and boat search for a five-year-old boy who went missing on the Red Earth Cree Nation on April 19th.

Sergeant Richard Tonge says because the river has receded the RCMP tactical support group will go back to the community this weekend to conduct a “thorough, targeted foot search of the banks of the Carrot River.”

Sgt. Tong says they are looking for any items that may be associated with Frank Young.

He says they have used all the resources and technology available to them and the missing person file will remain open until Frank is located and brought home.

Frank Young was last seen April 19th by his home and possibly a few hours later at a playground.

The RCMP asks anyone who has information, or finds any items of interest – like clothing that seems out of place – to contact Carrot River RCMP immediately.
