Police say a Saskatoon senior was forcibly confined and beat up overnight.

The Saskatoon Police Service says officers were called to a business in the 500 block of 20th Street West around 3 a.m. this morning where they found an 87 year old man who was taken to hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police say their investigation indicates that the 87 year old man was inside the business around 11 p.m. when at least two males broke in to the building, confined the victim and beat him before fleeing the scene.
